<p><b>Blue Yonder Job Title:</b></p><p>Sr. Tax Analyst</p><p></p><p><b>Similar Job Title:</b></p><p>Sr. Tax Accountant</p><p></p><p><b>Location:</b></p><p>US - Remote</p><p></p><p><b>Overview:</b></p><p>The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for managing day-to-day tax compliance and reporting, supporting tax provision and planning activities, and working cross-functionally to minimize tax risk and optimize tax positions. This role will prepare and review federal, state/provincial, local and international tax returns, support audits, and help implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and controls.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will do:</b></p><ul><li>Prepare, review and file corporate income tax returns (federal, state/provincial, local) and coordinate preparation of international tax filings as applicable.</li><li>Lead monthly/quarterly tax provision (ASC 740 / IFRS tax) processes, including data gathering, provision calculations, disclosures and documentation; coordinate with external auditors.</li><li>Research and interpret tax law, regulations and guidance; evaluate impact on company operations and financial statements.</li><li>Support tax planning initiatives (domestic and international) to optimize tax position and cash flow; model outcomes and present recommendations.</li><li>Manage state and local tax matters, including apportionment, sales & use tax, and payroll tax issues.</li><li>Coordinate and support tax audits and examinations by tax authorities; prepare responses and working papers; manage external advisors as needed.</li><li>Maintain and improve tax processes, controls and documentation; drive automation and ERP/technical system improvements related to tax data and reporting.</li><li>Provide tax support for business transactions including intercompany arrangements, restructurings, M&A diligence (as needed), and new product/pricing initiatives.</li><li>Mentor and coach junior tax staff; review their work and support professional development.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Treasury teams to align tax impacts with business activities.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate tax payments, deposits and reporting to relevant authorities.</li></ul><div></div><p></p><div></div><p><b>What we are looking for:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>4–7+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting (Big Four or regional firm) and/or industry tax departments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance, tax provisions (ASC 740) and tax research.</li><li>Proficient with tax software and general ERP systems (e.g., OneSource, Alteryx, Vertex, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Solid technical writing and documentation skills; attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication and stakeholder management skills; able to present tax issues clearly to non-tax stakeholders.</li><li>Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple tax jurisdictions.</li></ul><p></p><div></div><div></div><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or relevant professional accreditation strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience with international tax matters (transfer pricing, permanent establishment, withholding taxes) and cross-border transactions.</li><li>Hands-on experience with tax provision software (e.g., OneSource, CCH) and tax data integration projects.</li><li>Prior experience supporting tax audits and working with external tax advisors.</li><li>Experience with process improvement, SOX controls, and tax automation initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>#LI-REMOTE</p><p style="text-align:inherit"><span><span><span><span><span><span class="WIO0">-------------------------------------------</span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p>The annual salary range for this position is $79,615.38 - $100,384.61 USD</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
