Being a part of the Hitachi Vantara finance organization, this team connects the dots across multiple business functions to drive growth, promote data-driven decision making and helps solve dynamic business problems. The manager will lead a team working with and learning from a broad set of internal stakeholders, including and not limited to - services, sales, marketing, product management, finance, pricing, and partner operations, as well as key business owners and stakeholders across multiple levels and functions within the organization.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience and confidence in working with multiple data sources to deliver insightful, accurate analyses that drive actionable outcomes, improve business processes, and support executive decision-making. Success in this role requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and data quality, leadership in managing and developing analyst team and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.</p> <ul> <li>Manage a team in building interactive dashboards, predictive models, and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL</li> <li>Lead by example while managing and developing the Analyst team—providing hands-on guidance, mentorship, and fostering professional growth through direct involvement in project work.</li> <li>Delivery of analysis, dashboards, and sharp insights that enable functional leaders to quickly understand and effectively make decisions to manage the global performance of complex solution and service offerings</li> <li>Apply advanced analytics techniques (statistical modeling, machine learning) to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support business decision making</li> <li>Guide automation of data processing and transformation using Python, SQL, and modern cloud-based platforms</li> <li>Establish and enforce data governance and quality assurance standards across all projects.</li> <li>Mentor and coach junior staff, promoting professional growth and innovative problem-solving</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Marketing, or Engineering preferred, or an MBA combined with professional experience in a quantitative discipline performing statistical analysis</li> <li>A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pricing or financial analysis, business planning or analysis, or similar quantitative discipline</li> <li>Proven experience in data strategy, analytics leadership, and AI implementation.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to team with others</li> <li>High energy, creative, and self-starting; comfortable with ambiguity and possessing the ability to complete multiple projects on time</li> <li>Experience with management reporting</li> <li>Eagerness to collaborate with individuals from varying backgrounds and diverse skill sets</li> <li>Working knowledge of ERP systems, data warehouses and data extraction</li> <li>Strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate technical advancements into business impact</li> </ul> <p><em>As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $125K to $138K. The expected on-target earnings for this position is: $140K to $166K</em></p> <p><em>The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
