It is the responsibility of the Casualty Claims Risk Consultant to deliver tactical, client specific, casualty claims services on assigned accounts in support of Aon’s core brokerage services.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>Work Style:</strong> Virtual work from Home.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>Aon is in the business of better decisions</strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;">At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;">As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;">The general role of our Casualty Claims Risk Consultant is to:</p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Identify client exposures and provide customized casualty consulting services for clients to help them reduce and lead their Total Cost of Risk.</li><li>Ensuring the highest level of service from claims administrator(s).</li><li>Improve client claim outcomes by examining and analyzing key elements and related costs of their claims programs and build best practice-oriented approaches to claims cost containment.</li><li>Introduce appropriate Aon resources and provide project management to ensure commitments are met and results are achieved.</li><li>Establish project plans and budgets.</li><li>May require limited involvement in business development opportunities as dictated by geographic needs.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>Skills and experience that will lead to success:</strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Develop strategic client plans and associated budgets.</li><li>Deliver appropriate client services as outlined in the selected service plans as agreed with Account Executive/Client.</li><li>Handle delivery of agreed client services to ensure content quality and timely delivery.</li><li>Meet or exceed assigned billable hours and utilization goals.</li><li>Communicate and collaborate with manager and Account Executives to find opportunities for new business development.</li><li>Establish rapport and maintain positive working relationship with clients and colleagues.</li><li>Adhere to established Best Practices and make recommendations for improvement, when appropriate.</li><li>Maintain knowledge/skills as an insurance professional and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Provide advocacy on behalf of assigned clients relating to services rendered by carriers and/or TPAs to include the review and revision of account instructions, addressing client service concerns and negotiating applicable renewal pricing and terms.</li><li>Participate in telephonic or in-person claim reviews designed to result in file resolution, inclusive of documenting claim specific outcomes, action plans and the appropriateness of reserving where applicable.</li><li>Attend and participate in periodic on-site client meetings regarding service delivery and/or stewardship.</li><li>Utilize standard deliverable products and a specific “Peer Review” process to ensure consistency of services.</li><li>Interact with other Aon Consulting team members, Business Development teams, Leadership, Account Executives, Producers, Brokers, other Aon business units, Markets, and Vendors</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>Minimum qualifications and requirements</strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Proven performer with strong technical knowledge and work experience adjusting or managing general liability claims or possess multi-line claims experience with emphasis on casualty lines of coverage.</li><li>Maintain knowledge/skills as an insurance professional and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Fluent in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>Minimum education</strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>How this opportunity is different</strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;">Work with sophisticated clients to consultant on their casualty claims to support them through the whole claims process.
