Role Overview This full‑time, 10‑hour shift position (four days a week, including weekends and holidays) offers a dynamic blend of hands‑on hardware work, troubleshooting, and collaborative project execution. You will work closely with internal cloud service owners, network engineers, and senior on‑site staff to maintain a world‑class data center environment. Key Responsibilities Equipment Installation & Rack Assembly Install, configure, and rack enterprise servers, storage arrays, and networking devices. Perform precise cable management, power connections, and hand‑off to provisioning teams. Break/Fix & FRU Replacement Diagnose hardware failures, replace faulty Field‑Replaceable Units (FRUs), and verify system integrity after repairs. Network & Telecom Issue Resolution Investigate and resolve telecom availability problems, replace and configure enterprise switches, and maintain fiber/copper link integrity. Documentation & SOP Management Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and detailed work logs for all activities. Infrastructure Power & Cooling Install, test, and repair power distribution units (PDUs), UPS systems, and cooling infrastructure to ensure optimal environmental conditions. Inventory & Stock Management Track inventory levels, request and receive server components, and maintain accurate records in the internal asset management system. Incident Response & On‑Call Support Provide rapid on‑site response to critical incidents, escalating to senior staff when necessary, and participate in after‑hours on‑call rotations. Project Execution Lead small‑scale projects independently and collaborate with managers on larger, multi‑phase initiatives that enhance data center efficiency.
