Your expertise will help members navigate complex insurance terminology, resolve claims issues, and understand their benefits—directly influencing the health and well‑being of our community. Key Responsibilities Customer Care Identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to inbound member inquiries via phone, email, or chat. Member Advocacy Clearly explain plan benefits, coverage changes, eligibility criteria, claim status, provider networks, and arenaflex programs. High‑Volume Call Management Efficiently handle 40+ calls per day while maintaining a courteous, empathetic tone. Quality & Performance Meet or exceed established metrics for call quality, average handle time, and first‑call resolution. Documentation Accurately record all interactions in arenaflex’s CRM system, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards. Continuous Learning Stay up‑to‑date with arenaflex policies, health insurance regulations, and system updates through ongoing training. Team Collaboration Share insights and best practices with peers and supervisors to improve overall service delivery. Additional Duties Perform any other tasks assigned by management that support the mission of arenaflex. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted). Minimum of 1 year of external customer service experience, preferably in a call‑center or insurance environment. Proficiency with standard office equipment (copiers, fax, scanners) and telephone systems. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of member information. Comfort navigating multiple computer applications simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Health Administration, or a related field. Experience with health insurance terminology, claims processing, or member benefits. Fluency in Spanish (or another second language) – eligible for a $1 per‑hour bilingual premium. Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a calm and reassuring demeanor.
