<p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>As the Lead AI Engineer, you will design, prototype, and help operationalize AI-driven solutions across the wealth management lifecycle. You will explore emerging technologies—including agentic and generative AI—while collaborating closely with product, design, and technology partners to turn ideas into production-ready capabilities.</p><p></p><p><b>About the Team</b></p><p>The Wealth Research & Development (R&D) team is a strategic innovation hub focused on building next-generation wealth management solutions. We operate at the intersection of advanced AI, data science, and human-centered design—rapidly prototyping, validating, and scaling solutions that shape the future of wealth services.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Explore cutting-edge frameworks and design principles to inform product strategy</li><li>Clean, analyze, and interpret data to support AI-driven initiatives</li><li>Collaborate on requirements, architecture, testing, and QA for new solutions</li><li>Support proof-of-concept efforts to validate emerging technologies</li><li>Translate user research and feedback into actionable solution designs</li><li>Partner with stakeholders across technology, product, and strategy, and lead knowledge‑sharing initiatives.</li><li>Create dashboards, summaries, and presentations to share progress and insights</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field</li><li>Hands-on experience with Python-based ML/LLM stacks (e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, Scikit-learn)</li><li>Understanding of model deployment, evaluation, and lifecycle management</li><li>Proficiency with tools for data gathering (SQL), analysis (Python), and application development</li><li>Familiarity with agentic AI (autonomous agents), generative AI (LLMs), and conversational AI (chat agents)</li><li>Experience with modern frameworks for scalable, interactive applications</li><li>Knowledge of data science workflows including wrangling, analytics, and governance</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field</li><li>3+ years of experience analyzing, evaluating and delivering AI/ML solutions in production</li><li>Experience in financial services domain</li><li>Familiarity with multi-agent systems or integrating LLMs with traditional systems</li><li>Experience building scalable, secure backend services, including APIs and microservices in cloud-native environments.</li><li>Familiarity with Java for building, integrating, or scaling backend and enterprise-grade applications</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Core Competencies</b></p><ul><li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset</li><li>Strong research and synthesis skills</li><li>Effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Attention to detail in data handling and documentation</li><li>Adaptability and curiosity in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Salary Range: </b></p>$90,000 - $157,500 Annual<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
