Role Description

We are seeking an Associate Director, Customer Training to lead the design, development, and delivery of training programs that enable internal teams, customers, study teams, and clinical trial sites to effectively use Evinova’s SaaS-based clinical trial technology.

In this role, you will drive training strategy and execution across clinical studies, ensuring stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to successfully adopt our digital solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, study delivery, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and impactful training programs that support study success and improve user adoption.

This is a field-based position, open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and development of comprehensive training programs for clinical studies, including user guides, eLearning modules, video tutorials, and instructor-led workshops.
  • Deliver customer-facing training sessions, including UAT training, CRA training, and investigator meeting training.
  • Partner with study teams to identify training needs and ensure learning solutions align with study objectives and timelines.
  • Oversee training deliverables across study implementations, ensuring alignment with key milestones and delivery timelines.
  • Develop scalable and reusable training assets, including templated content, quick-reference guides, and standardized training frameworks.
  • Coordinate translation and localization of training materials to support global study teams and sites.
  • Maintain and update training materials throughout the lifecycle of ongoing studies to reflect product updates and evolving study needs.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure training materials remain current with new product releases and platform enhancements.
  • Ensure all training content aligns with GCP (Good Clinical Practice), ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Identify capability gaps and recommend targeted learning interventions to support successful platform adoption.
  • Support the scalability of learning solutions through digital formats such as eLearning, instructor-led training, and experiential learning approaches.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, analytics, and performance data, and continuously improve learning experiences.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and innovations in adult learning, digital learning technologies, and performance enablement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting the delivery, implementation, or commercialization of clinical trial technology or SaaS-based solutions within the life sciences industry.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programs for technology products, including instructor-led training, eLearning, and digital learning content.
  • Experience developing training programs for clinical trial stakeholders, including internal teams, sponsors, CROs, sites, or study teams.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research processes and regulatory frameworks, including GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and ICH guidelines.
  • Proven ability to create scalable, repeatable training assets, including user guides, training templates, and enablement materials that support product adoption.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, navigating ambiguity and identifying practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams, including product, study delivery, and customer-facing teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for improving patient outcomes and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Experience applying a continuous improvement mindset, using feedback, analytics, and insights to enhance learning programs and training effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex technology into clear, actionable training for diverse audiences.
