We are looking for a forward-thinking technologist that can accelerate our focus areas such as building stronger foundational technology capabilities, reducing complexity, employing digital transformation concepts, and leveraging disruptive technology.

Position Summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an Associate Product Manager, Digital Product Management, to manage support and maintenance for our external facing digital tools. You'll handle incidents, gather requirements for enhancements, and ensure these platforms continue delivering value. You'll also support successful product implementations through effective coordination and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you'll provide training and ongoing support to end-users, helping them adopt new systems and processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Support: Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of CDP, LINK, and IOP to ensure stability and performance.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve user-reported issues, coordinating with technical teams as needed.
  • Enhancement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document requirements for product improvements.
  • Value Assurance: Ensure digital tools continue to meet user needs and deliver business value.
  • Implementation Support: Assist in planning and executing product rollouts, ensuring smooth adoption and functionality.
  • Platform Configuration: Configure digital tools to meet specific customer requirements and use cases.
  • Training: Educate end-users on new systems, features, and processes to ensure effective usage.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between users, product teams, and developers to align expectations and outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of incidents, enhancements, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in digital products, preferably within enterprise or manufacturing sectors.
  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience in product management or related disciplines also to be considered.
  • Demonstrated success managing both internal tools and customer-facing applications.
  • Proven experience as an analyst with focus on digital solutions
  • Ability to gather functional business requirements and opportunities
  • Proven ability to educate end-users on new systems, features, and processes to ensure effective adoption and usage
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in packaging, logistics, or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience managing cross-platform applications (iOS, Android, Web).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.
